Death certificate birth date reads Apr 15, 1872, lived in CA 55 yrs, came to CA from TX about 1904. 1900 Census Grayson Co age 28; 1910 Census Newman TWP Stanislaus Co, CA, age 37, dairyman renting house. March 20, 1913 U. B. purchased 10 acres, Lot 62 Subdivision 8 of Los Molinos Land Co., for $1,750.00 as recorded in Book 63 page 33. This same property was then sold by U. B. and Margaret January 31, 1920 to F. H. Bly for $10.00. Other land transactions were recorded March 12, 1921 for 25.66 acres, Lot 61 and the west half of Lot 88 Subdivision 8 of Los Molinos Land Co., for $5,677.50; and January 12, 1923 for 10.91 acres, Lot 98 Subdivision 9 of Los Molinos Land Co., for $2,727.00. 1920 Census Dairyville, Tehama Co, CA, farmer growing grain & fruit on his own place with 9 children. Land transactions recorded in Tehama Co 1913-1923.
