Notes 
Individual:
Thomas moved from Ligonier Valley PA to Boonesville KY where a branch of the earlier Patterson relatives had already located. Thomas acquired title to a large quantity of land but after his deeds and records were destroyed by fire, he returned to PA where he died. (This info is from the American Monthly Magazine of the DAR May 1914 issue.

Wolf Creek Cem has a tombstone for a Thomas Patterson born 1739 May 18 and died 1836 Oct 22, who served in Col. Watt's Flying Camp - Rev. War.
