Our Heishman/Hummell & McSween/ Holliman
Our ancestors basically came from Scotland and Germany. My search for them has been a compulsive labor of love, that our children and our families may know a bit more about their ancestors. This is a never ending accomplishment and I want to thank so many family members who have contributed their information. Our ancestors began their American lives in Pennsylvania, Virginia and North Carolina. As lands opened up and boundaries redefined, many ancestors lived in West Virginia or moved to Ohio and beyond. Other than our direct line of ancestors, I have concentrated on the older generations with the intent that younger generations would be easier found. I would appreciate an e-mail or note from you regarding any errors in my information. Any new information would be appreciated and I am willing to share all of the information that I have.
