Married: April 9, 1898. George F. Partelo, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Partelo, of
Ashaway, and Miss Winnie E. Miner, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alden F.
Miner, of Laurel Glen. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Lewis F.
Randolph, at his home in Hopkinton. The groom was attired in a suit of black
and the bride wore a lovely gown of steel gray, trimmed with pink silk and white
chiffon. She was presented with a beautiful bunch of pink and a cluster white
pinks and ferns by Mrs. James N. Lewis, of Ashaway, with whom she has been
sojourning for about two years. The young people were accompanied to the city
by Walter Miner, brother of the bride, and his friends Percy Byrom and Crawford
Partelo, of Ashaway, and Misses Ellen Hoxsie and Stella Maine, of this village.
Mr. and Mrs. Partelo departed Sunday afternoon for Ashaway, where they will
visit their parents. The writer wishes to extend congratulations and best wishes
for their futher happiness and prosperity.
