Notes
Individual:
Oklahoma City Times, September 16, 1920, p. 8, c. 5: Charles Colt, Oklahoma county deputy court clerk and an old Oklahoma county official, died suddenly at St. Anthony's hospital at 4:15 o'clock Thursday morning after being stricken with a stroke of paralysis late Monday evening, according to Cliff Myers, court clerk, Thursday morning. Complete funeral arrangements have not yet been made but it is thought the services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon, Myers said. Colt was under-sheriff under Sheriff Harvey Garrison. He has been deputy court clerk for four years. He was connected with official work in Oklahoma county for a number of years prior to that. Colt lives six miles south of the city on the Norman interurban line.

Daily Oklahoman, September 17, 1920, p. 16, c.1: Funeral services for Charles Colt, deputy court clerk, who died yesterday, will be conducted at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow by Rev. Forney Hutchinson, pastor of St. Luke's Methodist Church South, at Street & Draper's Chapel at Ninth Street and Robinson Avenue. Burial will be at Fairlawn Cemetery.
