Clark Dickinson worked at Murdock and Dickinson General Hardware, Union City, Mich.
He died quite young at age of 33, massive heart failure.
Clark and Edith were a happy couple. There was plenty of money to buy the best things for their children. But when Clark died, he leaving her alone with 2 children, Don and Dorothy, times began to get hard. It was the time of the Great Depression. In those days and Edith had to take in sewing and washing to keep things going. She had always been close to her family and with help and love, she did o.k.
In 1915 she met Mr. Kane. They married and had Edith's third child Gerald.
When researching the Dickinson's I recieved several email me information below is som of it:
Joyce, my great-grandmother's half-sister, Mallinda Dickinson, widow of Ransom Rosencrantz, married, in 1917 (as her second husband), Scott Dickinson.

below is some of it:
Joyce, my great-grandmother's half-sister,
Malinda Dickinson, widow of Ransom Rosencrantz, married, in 1917 (as her second husband), Scott Dickinson.
From some of her descendants I received probably the same information that you have, starting with
Ichabod Dickinson, born 1770, who married Mercy Tripp.
However, some of the earlier generations in that were wrong.
(1) Ichabod was the son of George Dickinson (1738-1813) of Canaan, NY.
(2) George was the son of Samuel (d. 1750), of Dutchess Co., NY and Mary (Cole) Dickinson.
(3) Samuel was the son of
(4) Charles Dickinson (d. 1740), of South Kingstown, RI, by his wife Philip (Greene) Dickinson.
The above is all proved by wills and other evidence.
Malinda Dickinson's line also goes through Samuel (d. 1750).

Ichabod, born 1774, the person in question, was the son of
George Dickinson (1738-1813), born in Stonington, CT, died in Canaan, Columbia Co., NY, and his wife Elizabeth. George was the son of
Samuel Dickinson (d. 1750 Dutchess Co., NY) and Mary (Cole) Dickinson (d. 1753). Samuel was the son of
Charles Dickinson, of South Kingstown, RI (d. 1740), probably by his second wife Philip Greene (b. 1658).
I'm a descendant of George's brother Christopher. I have info on Ichabod's descendants, which came from a correspondent some years ago.

Son John m. Francis Foote . . He was b. after 1630 and d.before 1676 at Hadley Hampshire MA.
Son Samuel b Jul 1638 at Wetherford co, CT m, Martha Bridgeman .
Sons Obidah b. 16 Apr 1641 and George. I am descended from Obidah. I did not know about your George.
