Science Hall
Caption in the year book reads: "I have heard of a boy and good words
went with his name". George and his brother, Hudnall, are also
mentioned as private pupils in the dramatic arts department. They
travelled by train from Texas. George and Hudnall were only able to
remain at the college for one year, due to finances, even though they
tried to work all that they could in order to stay there. Some of
George's odd jobs were cleaning the sewers and pumping the pipe organ
at church.
