Francis Bourne came to Kentucky in 1780, stayed three months at Boonsborough, then back to VA. Came back in 1789, lived in Jessamine County until his death in 1803. He became a Baptist minister. His descendant Daniel Boone Bourne was killed at the Alamo by Santa Anna's forces.
