John Wallace of Hull L.C. and Ann Cooper of By Town 19 Sept. 1834
at By Town. w. Robert Wallace, Paul Cooper. z
John and his father appear on Col. By's rent rolls for 1829 with 2

houses on Murray St. Subsequently moved to Hull Quebec onto land
leased from Philemon Wright in an area known as Wrightville. Began
clearing land in Osgoode Twp. with his brothers and brother-in-law Paul
Cooper no later than 1837 and permanently had moved there by 1840.
