Her sponsors were Roman Rodrigue and Rosalie Martinez. (St. Elizabeth (Paincourtville) Church Records - 2,39)The Diocese of Baton Rouge Catholic Church records state that Desire Gonzalez, son of Vicente Gonzalez and Cesile Gomez, married Evellirre Suarez, daughter of Francois Suarez and Augustine Rodriguez, on January 25, 1864. Witnesses were: Hypolite Acosta and Euphemie Albarado. (Assumption Church Records - 12,22)
