The Diocese of Baton Rouge Catholic Church records state that "Chatherine" Leblanc, age ca. 20 and daughter of Jaques Leblanc and Catherine Landry, married Jean Baptiste Babin, age ca. 26 and son of Pierre Babin and Magdeline Bourg, on September 30, 1745. (Consanguinity 3rd to 4th Degree). Witnesses were Pierre Babin, Jacques LeBlanc, Jean LeBlanc, and Josep LeBlanc.
