!DEATH: Leonard Tabler's will that was written November 4, 1737:
"In the name of God Amen. Whearas I am rel in good health and understand that I must die, I t hink it necessary to leave my house in order how I think be kept after my death.
I recommend therefore my sould to my God and creator and my body to the earth and the....in g eneral. I do choose two executors, Anna maria Tableren and George Tabler to execute my will
In the first all my lawfull debts shall be paid. I give to my son Geoge Tabler, the plantatio n except fifty acres of wood alnd shall be for my wife during her life time is she continues a widow, and after her death it shall fall to my eldest son George Tabler should it belong to the same plantation. My youngest son, Melchoir Tabler shall have all the movables chattes and house goods, but not before my wife is death.
My son Mathias Tabler and my daughter Maria Barbara wife of David Told have both their shar e of my in Germany, and shall have no further demand on their brethren here in this country. This is my last will and testament which I have made by sound understanding and memory and have put my hand and seal so it.

This will was contested by wife and heirs' agreement was compiled and translated by Conrad We iser and filed for probate in Philadelphia
"On the 16th day of November 1738 there is an agreement made by the widow and the heirs of Le onard Tabler, deceased. George Tabler shall have and keep on half of the plantation for him and his wife Catorina Margaret together with one fourth part of the moveables.
The widow of the late Leonard shall have the other half of the said plantation during life ti me if she continues a widow. Together with the first third part of all the movables belonging to the last Leonard estate and after her death that one half of the said plantation will all what she has left shall be equally divided amongst the four children of the late Leonard.
Melchoir Tabler shall have one fourth part of the rest of the movables. Mathias Tabler shal l have one fourth part of the said movables. Maria Barbara, David Toldins, wife shall have one fourth part of the said movables.
They bind themselves into lack other under the.......of fifty pounds that no shall make any f urther demand for the performances hereof the have paid this hand and seals it is agreed before the j....sealing hereof that the....shall be equally divided by the widow and George Tabler.
