Seeking information on the Chesin and Chernock (Cherniack, Chermack) families. The Chesin family is from Mstislavl, Mogilev region, in present-day Belarus. The Chernock family is from Novozybkov, Chernigov region, in present-day Russia. Nathan Chesin and wife Sarah Chernock Chesin immigrated to America in the early 1900s. They arrived with 5 children and had 2 more once in America. The family settled in New York City and many descendants remain somewhere in New York to this day. Nathan had a brother named Aaron, who was married with at least 5 children, but I don't know if this family immigrated or know anything further about them. He also had a sister, Etta Ehudin, whose family immigrated to Baltimore. The Chernock family also ties in with Epsteins. If you have any information on this family, please let me know!
