The Keelings came from England in 1626 to Virginia and South Carolina.
BENJAMIN KEELING is the possible son of WILLIAM KEELING. He had a land grant in 1771 in Halifax co., VA; sold out in 1778 and moved to SC; moved to Washington county, KY, in 1790. He had a land transfer in 1797.
