DEATHS
ROBINSON.- In Greenwich, May 13, 1893, Charlotte McChesney, wife of George
LeRoy Robinson, in the 69th year of her age.
LOCAL NEWS
-- The funeral of Mrs. G.L. Robinson, who died Saturday, May 13, was held from the residence of her son, on John Street, at 2 o'clock p.m., Tuesday. The immediate cause of her death was paralysis. Her home is at Saratoga Springs. About three weeks go she was summoned to this village by a telegram stating that her sister, Mrs. William Palmer, was seriously ill. She and her husband came to Greenwich on the next train. Mrs. Robinson has been a sufferer for years with the disease that terminated in her death.

Charlotte's Death Certificate #21637 states that Charlotte, daughter of Adam McChesney, died of General Paralysis at 1020 PM. Charlotte McChesney Robinson is buried in the Greenwich cemetery in the old Robinson family plot (D-110) marked by an obelisk in the center of the plot identifying George LeRoy Robinson and Charlotte Robinson. Charlotte had a sister, Elmina McChesney Fratt, died 1898.

M.F. gives her birth date as 7 January 1823, which is impossible, since her sister Mary was born September 27, 1822; she was doubtless the Charlotte McChesney, born 7 January 1825(?), Guilderland, near Albany, NY, who died 'about 5 years ago - ca. 1897(?), buried Greenwich, NY; married LeRoy Robinson, born Middle Falls, NY; died 'about one year ago' - ca. 1901(?), buried Greenwich (M.J.B.)"
