gged, Daggett, Daged) of Watertown, Mass. applied for "Freeman" Oct 19, 1630 and was admitted Freeman May 18, 1631. Proprieter he removed to Rehobeth and then to Martha's Vineyard, Proprieter and Freeman, and Deputy. Married at Rehobeth 23 Sept. 1651 to Ann Sutton, made will May 13, 1673 bequethed to his wife, to sons: John Joseph and Thomas, and daughters: Elizabeth and Hephzibah lands chiefly at " Martin's vineyard" friend Isaac Robinson and son-in-law John Eedy oversees his estate on the islands.
Nadine Vasquez letter 16 June 1969, indicates her research into 3 v. History of Martha' s Vineyard. show Joseph Daggett to be father to Elizabeth, not John, and wife of Joseph to be Amy Eddy, not Ann Sutton... possible that Joseph and John inter mixed and that Ann a second wife?
Amy Eddy and Joseph Dagget were first cousins being children of Joseph Daggett, (Joseph) a nd Hepzibah Daggett (Amy)
