Phineas Graves (7) was born 8 Feb. 1735. He served in the French and Indian War in
1757, and in Capt. Nixon's Co. in 1759. He was out with the Minute Men at Concord on
April 19, 1775, and served 6 months in R.I. in 1779 in Capt. Thomas Hovey's Co., Col.
Nathan Tyler's Regt. He first married Miss Pepper, who died after the birth of her second
child. He moved to Annapolis Co., Nova Scotia, where he secondly married Elizabeth
Banks. (R-200)
