The Perkins family of Daviess Co Indiana. The original ancestor was Elisha Perkins born in PA, lived in NC in 1790, who married Mary Elizabeth Scott or Elizabeth Mary Scott. Nearly all of his children came to Daviess Co Indiana, Barr Twp in the early 1800's. Some of the collateral lines are Alford, Allen, Buzan, Keith, McCall and Winninger.
