Per Doly Vernice Dillon Cobb: My grandmother, Eliza, passed away
in my parent's bedroom. She was a diabetic and her feet had gangrene. When the doctors wanted to remove them she begged my father to takeher out of hospital and let her keep her feet. As dad knew she wasdying, he brought her to out home and all his sisters moved in tohelp my mother care for her.
