Individual:
William Collins Fitzgerald brought his family to Nebraska in 1905. In 1912 they located in Sheridan County and in 1920 they came to Brown County, which was his home until his death.
He left behind his wife, seven children, thirty-nine grandchildren and twenty-six great grandchildren.
He was also survived by his brothers Elmer Fitzgerald of Hayes Center, Nebraska, Fred Fitzgerald of Gresham, Oregon and sisters Lottie, (Charlotte) Fitzgerald Wilson and Nellie Fitzgerald Morris both of Canton Illinois.
