Text:
[v22t2232.ftw] Willis Maughmer writes, "George inherited half of a 350 acre farm in Ross, County, Concord Township when his father died (1855). Disposing of this about 1860 he moved to Miami County, Indiana and bought a 240 acre farm near Wawpecong where he lived for the remainder of his days. In 1895, December 19th, George was married to Elizabeth Hoffman in Howard County, Indiana. He died in Miami County 22 February 1903 and is buried with Mary Ann, his first wife in the Cassville, Indiana Cemtery." [dcmolder] Ross Co.court records show Maughmer being spelled "Maughman" also.
