| My Crooked Little Family Tree |
Hi, my name is Dawn C. Kersey-McVay, daughter of C. Donald Kersey & Carolyn S. Sigman from Putnam County, WV. I've been tracking my "roots" for approximately 3 years now, however last March we lost our home and everything in it, to a fire. Needless to say, this was a major set back...but I just jumped back in and started at the beginning again. If you should see any errors, or mis-information, please by all means let me know so that I may keep this as accurate as possible. We all know how aggravating it is to acquire false information, only to find out a little to late to keep the mistake from spreading to others. I would appreciate any and all help, and I must credit my new found "cousins" for all the "Shaffer" information they've filled me in on, (Michael Shaffer...thanx for the stories you snail-mailed me of Charles Patrick Shaffer and his wife's successful devious plot to kill him...all for the $14,000.00 life insurance policy she THOUGHT he had, wow! Wonder what she did when she found out he'd let it all lapse but a couple $1000.00 ?
