Notes 
Individual:
Before his marriage to Mary Janssen, Charles, 5th Lord Baltimore, was father of a son called Benedict Swingate. This boy was sent to Maryland about 1742, married, in 1748, Elizabeth Calvert, dau. of Gov. Charles Calvert, and assumed the name of Calvert, becoming head of the family who lived at Mt Airy. ("Heritage of faith")
