Individual:
Hi R
I looked a little more....
In the Brooklyn Directory 1840-1841 there are listed these Armstrong..
ARMSTRONG, John, furrier, 54 Stanton
ARMSTRONG, Simon, furrier DeKalb n Sandford
ARMSTRONG, Thomas, watch and clock maker 40 Hicks
ARMSTRONG, W.& H. Druggists and Chemists Main c Front
And since Matilda would've been under 5 in 1840...on 1840 Census Kings
County are these Armstrong..
John Armstrong....1 male 5-10, 2 males 10-15, 1 male 15-20, 1 male 40-50, 1
female under 5, 1 female 5-10, 1 female 15-20, 1 female 40-50
Simon Armstrong...1 male 20-30, 1 female under 5, 1 female 20-30
Thomas Armstrong....lived alone
Martin Armstrong....children but no females under the age of 5
Patrick Armstrong...1 male under 5, 1 male 5-10, 1 male 20-30, 1 female
under 5, 1 female 20-30
Thos (or it could say Mr S) Armstrong...1 male 30-40, 1 female under 5, 1
female 20-30
If you don't have this already....Of course they could've moved by then
also. If you have access to census...perhaps following up further on the ones
with under 5 females might help.
