Notes 
Individual:
He was one of the first eight settlers of the town of Danbury, CT. The seven others were: Thomas Taylor, Francis Bushnell, John Hoyt, James Benedict, Samuel Benedict, James Beebe and Judah Gregory. They purchased the land from the Indians and commenced the preparations for settlement in the year 1684, and all made their residences there in the spring of 1685.
