Invt.oe108-01-00. Taken 20 October, 1693, by William Southmayd, ffrancis Whetmore and Israhiah Whetmore.
The last will and Testament of Cattern Wetmore of Middletown is as followeth: Imprimis: I give to my son William Roberts oe10, to Samuel Roberts oe10, to my son John Roberts oe10, I give to my son Benjamin Wetmore oe6, which is besides what he heth by virtue of his father's will and to my two loving daughters Abigaill and Hannah, they having ten pounds apiece by their Father Thomas Whetmore. If my Estate is more than sufficient to pay my debts & Legacies, the remainder to be equally divided among all my sons & daughters. I request my son-in-law, Beriah Wetmore, to be Overseer.
