Notes 
Individual:
Cyrus lived in Bucyrus during his school days and graduated from Bucyrus H.S.,

He then moved to Columbus and worked at Columbus Malable Iron works, during this
time he boarded at Grace and Henry Hurst home. During his working years he
worked at Omar Bakery, Jefferys Manufacturing. He was in business for himself
in the Sunoco Service Station at Hudson & High, East Spring St., and Pacemont &
High in the north end of Columbus. After the service station at Pacemont & High
he went to work at Ohio State University as a welder in the maintaince dept.,
where he retired on disability and then moved to Florida in Aug, 1972 where he
lived the remainder of his life in Port Richey. After retiring he enjoyed
working in the yard and grew beautiful roses. He also enjoyed riding his
bicycle with his dogs (Bosco)&(Muffin). During his lifetime he had trouble with stomach ulcers and had a stomach

operation . He also had some heart problems starting in 1972. His death was
caused by complications due to leakage from large intestine into the bladder and
carotid artery blockage.
Cyrus was always very generous in helping others out.
In Cyrus younger days he loved to go and visit Glen Bethel down in Bournville,
Ohio on the farm where they would go hunting & fishing together. He also loved
to travel in his younger days.
