PIERRE & GABRIEL LEMIEUX Resulting from a family of wet coopers, it isMichaelmas parish, of Rouen, in Normandy, department currentofSeine-Maritime, which us the half-brothers Pierre and GabrielLemieuxcome. Their mother, Marie Lugan or Luguen, gave rise to PierreLemieux,baptized on October 26 1616, of her marriage into 1614, withPierreLemieux, deceased into 1629. While, Gabriel Lemieux, second stockof thisgreat family, was born into 1626, of the second marriage of MarieLuganand Louis Lemieux, brother or cousin of Pierre Lemieux, herfirsthusband. The pioneer, Pierre Lemieux marries at Our-Lady ofQuebec,September 10 1647, Marie Bnard, originating in Ile de France,whichgives him seven children of which, Louis Lemieux which concern us inthisgenealogy. Born into 1652, he marries on November 26 1682, attheisland-with-Cranes, Marie-madeleine Ct, girl of Louis Ct andlisabethLanglois. Marie-madeleine Ct is buried on August 25 1688,after less thansix years of marriage. Louis Ct dies with theisland-with-Cranes onDecember 30 1693, his body is deposited in thecemetery of CapeSaint-Ignace. Their son Louis Lemieux, born on October 41683, marries in1705, Genevieve Fort, born in 1686.
