He was the royal armorer and Lieutenant-General of Acadia who arrived inPort-Royal around 1640 (Arsenault Vol 2 p 524), also cited in fn # 37isa note of Father Archange Godbout in the Quebec Arcives and Memoiresdela Societe Genealogique Canadienne-Francaise Vol VI pp 371-388.
