Individual:
Cecil worked as a cook in the woods near Allagash, ME as a young man.
During WWII he moved to South Portland and worked in the shipyard. Hemoved to Unity, Maine in 1946 went into business with his brother,Roland, in Unity Village, ME. They owned and operated a sawmill andfinish woodworking mill, doing carpentry and cabinet making for thefamilies of the area. Roland moved to Florida and Cecil ran thebusiness until 1957, when he moved his family back to South Portlandand worked as a cabinet maker for many years. He later lived inGorham, ME and in St. Augustine, FL. He was a member of the Church ofChrist in Portland and South Portland, ME for many years.He died of a heart attack at the Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME.
He is buried next to his wife and parents in the Pond Cemetery.
