Dear Susee Family Member;
Greetings from The Dale Key, Veryl Susee Family in Oregon, we have been researching our family names for many years, the SUSEE name has been near impossible to find information on and we have very little. This is where all you folks come in. We would love to find others that are interested in finding the SUSEE Roots or anyone with family history that is willing to share.
Here is what we think we know. My wife's branch of the SUSEE's migrated from Quebec, Canada in the 1800's, they located to The Elk River, Sherburne, MN area by the late 1800's, at least one of my wife's Aunt's (Adelle Marie Susee) was born their August 25, 1896, her father and mother, John Baptiste Susee, born 1865 Canada and Clara Marie LaFleur born 1874 unknown location. They married June 29, 1891, probably MN.
Their children: Roy, Cloyd, John, Arthur, Adelle b. 25 Aug 1896, Charles Theofel, b. 06 Aug 1898, Blanch D., b. 1902, Maurice A., b. 1906, Alice, b. 06 Sep 1908, Ewald Francis, b. 14 Aug 1912 and Etheloy, b. about 1913
Anyone that might have information or that would like to help is invited join in, the goal is only to find our roots and share with others. The Susee name is very unique and the family is small, we should be able to put it together for our future generations to enjoy.
