Stephen E Dailey
New Concord - Stephen E Dailey, 46, of 9105 Zane Trace Road, Norwich, died at 12:55 a.m. today (Aug. 4, 1990) at Good Samaritan Medical Center, Zanesville, following a several week illness.
He was born Sept. 14, 1943 in Zanesville, son of Margaret Bateson Dailey of Zanesville and the late Hazlett A. Dailey. he was a 22-year employee of General Electric Parts Distribution in New Concord and treasurer of IBEW Local 211 at General Electric. He was a past member and officer of Cassell Station VFD and veteran of the Vietnam Conflict.
Mr. Dailey leaves his wife, Rita F. Epling Dailey; two daughters, Mrs Rick (Stephanie) Smith and Kelli Dailey, both of Zanesville; three sons, James Dailey of Zanesville; Brian Dailey serving the US Air Force in Germany and Ryan Dailey of the home; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Jodi Dixson of Olympia, Wash.; one sister, Mrs Patricia Hylkema of Zanesville; two brothers, Mike Dailey of Zanesville and David Dailey of Cincinnati; four grandchildren and three stepgrandchildren.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Mock-Miller Funeral Home where services will be at 1 p.m. Monday. The Rev. John Edwards will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Sonora.
