Notes 
Individual:
Joseph Markley moved with his parents to Nevada Ohio in 1878 and settled on the old John Markley homestead (John was an older brother of Mathias). He raised his family and died there. Joseph and his father had 280 acres of land between them and it formed a contiguous parcel. 120 acres of this land has got out of the hands of the Markley heirs and split up the old farm.
