Thelma G. Taylor
Masury: Thelma G. Taylor, 77, 8055 Addison Road, died Tuesday at 12:30 a.m. in Trumbull Memorial Hospital following a short illness. She was born Aug. 3, 1919, in Canton Township, Pa., a daughter of the late Melvin E. and Bernice Sims Horner, and moved to Masury in 1993 from Warren. Mrs. Taylor retired from the housekeeping department of Canonsburg (Pa) General Hospital where she had worked four years and also helped on their farm. She was a member of North Buffalo United Presbyterian Church in Pennsylvania. Survivors include her husband, Albert E. Taylor, whom she married Sept. 23, 1939; son William A. Taylor of Washington state; five daughters, Thelma J. Fonte of Washington, Pa., Elizabeth B. Grant of Chardon, G. Marie McTheny of Phoenix, Ariz., Norma J. Brewer of Glendale, Ariz., and Carol M. Lanza of Warren; 15 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Two brothers, Bernard and Ellis Horner, are deceased. Friends may call from 5 p.m. until the time of the 8 p.m. service Thursday in Madasz Funeral Home in Brookfield. A graveside burial service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Brush Run Cemetery, in Peters Township, Washington County, Pa.
