Albert Ewart Taylor
Warren- Albert Ewart Taylor, 92, 3310 Elm Road N.E., died at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, July 6, 2004, at Gillette Nursing Home.
He was born June 24, 1912, in Peters Township, Pa., a son of William Charles and Jessie (Dennis) Fife-Taylor.
He was a self-employed farmer and attended Peters Township United Presbyterian Church.
Surviving him are one son, William Taylor of Washington; five daughters, Thelma J. Fonte of Warren, Elizabeth B. "Betty" Grant of Chardon, G. Marie McTheny of Sutton, W.Va., Norma J. Tarajkowski of Phoenix, Ariz., and Carol M. Lanza of Warren; 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma G. (Horner) Taylor; three brothers and three sisters.
Graveside services will be held at 1p.m. Monday at Brush Run Cemetery in Peters Township. Calling hours will be private.
Madasz Funeral Home handled arrangements.

Farmer formerly of Peters Twp.
Albert Ewart Taylor, 92, of 3310 Elm Road, NE, Warren, OH, died at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, July 6, 2004, in Gillette Nursing Home, Warren.
He was born June 24, 1912, in Peters Township, a son of William Charles and Jessie Dennis Fife Taylor.
Mr. Taylor was a self-employed farmer and following retirement worked as a maintenance man at Canonsburg Gereral Hospital.
He had attended Peters Township United Presbyterian Church.
On September 23, 1939, he married Thelma G. Horner, who died May 6, 1997.
Surviving are a son, William A. Taylor of the state of Washington; five daughters, Thelma J. Fonte of Warren, Elizabeth B. (Betty) Grant of Chardon, Ohio, G. Marie McTheny of Sutton, W.Va., Norma J. Tarajkowski of Phoenix, Ariz., and Carol M. Lanza of Warren; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are three brothers, Charles Weygandt, James Miller and John Watson Taylor; three sisters, Emeline Amelia McKuhn, Lucy May Harrer and Elizabeth Jane Taylor; a half brother, George Ray Fife; and a half sister, Louella Mary Fife.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, July 12, in Brush Run Cemetery, Peters Township. Visitation will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to American Lung Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Madasz Funeral Home Inc., Brookfield, Ohio.
