The ice cream supper given recently at Allen, the proceeds of which went to the Methodist Church, was all but a failure.
Miss Sallie Teel is visiting Mrs. E. F. Young and family.
A protracted meeting is going on at Lower Rowlett.
Henry Abbott is not expected to live. Mr. Abbott is suffering from dropsy of the heart.
The Baptists are holding a splendid meeting at Allen.
