Sunday evening, at 6 o'clock, Miss Margariette Esther Halstead became thebride of John L Hi n kle, Judge William Davis officiating. Themarriagetook place at the home of the bride's pare n ts, Mr and MrsWilliamHalstead. The bride wore a handsome blue silk gown.
Besides the members of the Halstead family, those who were presenttowitness the ceremon y w ere the bride's grandparents, Mr and Mrs JohnKarnsand Mr and Mrs Halstead, and Mrs Hinkle , t he groom's mother.
After the ceremony, a bounteous wedding dinner was served, JudgeDavispartaking. The bri d e and groom are well known among our youngpeople,and they start out in life with the best w i shes of thecommunity. Maythey live long and prosper and be happy.
