Individual:
The date of her birth is uncertain, but the records of Dunmore county,Va.
where her parents were living show a Matthew Maddux and his wife EveMaddux executing a deed to Abram Strickler for 200 acres on Apr 27, 1773.She must surely have been at least 15 years old!

They were still living in Shenandoah Co, Va. in 1794, so they probably stayed in Shenandoah County after several of her family moved to RussellCo, Va.
