Abraham, b. 18 March, 1791, at Chatham. He m. 4 June, 1815, Harriet Champion, daughter of Lynde Champion of Austerlitz, NY. He was awoolen manufacturer, and they settled at Austerlitz, where she d. 18Aug., 1818. He had by her one child:
1. Matthew, b. at Austerlitz, who married and settled in Canada west, was a manufacturer of window sash and blinds. and had two daughters:Eliza, b. 1846; and Laura, b. 1852.
Abraham, then m. 1 March, 1820, Sarah Phelps, b. 25 Nov., 1796, daughter of Israel Phelps and Lovisa Root of Chatham, where theysettled, and where she d. 18 June, 1825. he had by her threechildren, born at Chatham.
