The house is an excellent reflection of Pensacola's lumber boom era, with high ceilings over riff pine floors, Gibbs windows on the front, and slate mantles. the architecture is typical of that of aprosperous family of the 1870's-- the first floor has a parlor, diningroom, long hall and attached kitchen; the second floor, four rooms anda hall--three large rooms were used as bedrooms and the small room asa sewing and sitting room. the furnishings are antiques and decor isthat of the middle Victorian Period.
