William Jennings son of Lieut. Wm., married in Long Island but during or soon after the Battle of Long Island, Aug. 27, 1776, he left there and moved to Connecticut or parts unknown. As nothing more has been heard of him, we will be compelled to leave to future generations the discovery of his last place of abode.
