BIOGRAPHY: Elias (Aley) and Malenda Marcum Williamson were married at
Louisa,Lawrence County Ky. They lived on Rockcastle until 1842 when theymoved to the Wilsondale Section of Wayne County, Wv.
BIOGRAPHY: Elias was a farmer and United Baptist preacher. He was the "Marrying Sam" for the wide area as shown by marriage records. Theyreared 11 children and their decendents are numerous and prominent. Theyhad 5 sons and 6 daughters.
BIOGRAPHY: Elias died in 1881 at age of 71. Malenda survived him as shown by the Wayne County death register.
