Source Text: He was married while doing home duty, on the 24th of September, 1837 to Miss Mary Malone, and she accompanied him to the East Indies, where he was ordered in 1841. . . . His wife (who has now been dead 20 years), was the first European woman to enter the fortress of Hyderbad after its surrender, by the order of the commanding General, on account of service rendered by her on the field.
