Individual:
Nina wrote a note on a map in the Hantsport book giving the location of the home of "Sam Sheridan (Dot & Flo)". Originally, I inferred from this that Samuel Sheridan was the father of Dot and Flo, who ADB thought were sisters, as they were living in the same household when she was young.
Since then, I have established that Flo was Flora L. (Sheridan) Paige, and that she was the daughter of John and Annie M. Sheridan. All 4 of Annie's children are known, and none were named Dot or Dorothy. Flo's sisters are listed as Muriel R. and Alice or Angelina, in the 1900 1nd 1910 censuses.
So, either "Dot" is a very unusual nickname for one of Flo's sisters, or she was a cousin. I'm therefore making Sam John's brother and Dot's father, which making Dot and Flo cousins.3 Jan 20060:05:14
