Am working on a book to document Anderson line in America and
possibly include some information going back into Western Europeif I can fine links.
Would like to use some of your information from your web site and
links. Would attributed to you as the source. Would like yourpermission to use some of the information and send inquiries toyou from time to time as information is in conflict.
I am an eighth generation descendant of William. Our line is from
Thomas's son John, who after Thomas's death in Oct of 1806,relocated from Fairfield county to southern Indiana. Our John'sgreat grand son, Thomas T Anderson (my great grandfather relocatedto California at 19 years of age, in 1847, located aroundSacramento. His father Thomas, (grandson of original Thomas) hadrecently died and his mother and younger sister moved to WhiteTower, Ill. to live with an older daughter. My paternalgrandfather, William Asa was Thomas T Anderson's eighth or ninthoffspring. My father George Clark left California in the mid1930,s and moved back east.
I live in Xxxxxxxxxx, Virginia where we retired from the Army in
1983. Our oldest son, Steve is a vet, and after graduating in1993, joined a practice in the mountains of western Maryland, andunbeknown, settled 30 minutes from Anderson Bottom by car. We havevisited and walked the land. As Steve pointed out, there are fewerpeople living in that valley than when four generations livedthere.
