Individual:
Different sources cite Thomas as being the son of John Lowe and Ellen Revett or Susan Serles or Giles Lowe and Cicely Firmin/Firman. I have seen no solid information backing either assertion.
Supposedly John has been disproven, but I have not verified the reasoning.
On the other hand:
LOWE Thomas Lowe or Low, of Chebacco, Ipswich, now Essex,
Massachusetts, was born in England. He is believed to have
been the son of Captain John Low, captain of the ship
"Ambrose," and vice-admiral of the fleet which brought over
Governor Winthrop's colony in 1630. The cane and Bible said
to have belonged to Captain John Low have been handed down
in the families of the Essex Lows, and are now in possession
of Daniel W. Low, of Essex, Massachusetts, a descendant. The
Bible was "Imprinted at London by Christopher Barker, Printer
to the Queenes Most Excellent Majestie, dwelling in Pater
Noster Rowe at the signe of the Tigreshead Anno 1579." "The
whole Book of Psalms by Sternhold, Hopkins and others, printed
by Derye over Aldergate 1578." "Susanna Low her book 1677, May

Text: "In the Name of God Amen. The Twentith day of Aprill in the yeare
of grace one Thowsand Six hundred Seauenty & Seauen, I Thomas LowSenr. of Ipswich in America in the Shire of Essex, being weake inbody; but of good & perfect memory, thanks be vnto God, Doeordaine & make this my last will & Testament in manner & formefollowing, first I bequeath my Soule into the hands of theAlmighty God my Creator & redeemer, by whom, through whom, & inwhom I trust to haue remission of all my Sinnes & to be anInheritor of the Kingdome of Heauen, & my body to be buried at thediscression of my Executor. And Also I giue hir the cowe to be hir[own] & John to send hir the pay to Boston or Charls Towne.

all my lands in Ipswich both meadow & vpland, to him & his heiresfor euer. Item I giue & bequeath vnto my Sonne Thomas Low Thirtypownds, to bee payd him by my Executor in tooe yeares after mydecease. Item I giue vnto my Daughter Margaret forty pownds, to bepayd by my Executor in tooe yeares after my decease. Item I Giuevnto my daughter Sarah forty pownds to be payd by my Executorwithin tooe yeare after my Decease.
