Hi you did not mention where your wifes Browns were from. My
husbands line goes from here in Michigan back to NY, Conneticut, VTand MA. Mine havent had a lot of luck, but I know my gr grandmotherwas born here in Oceana Co, MI, her father was born NY and hisparents KY.
I will try to make some sence of the Hutchuins line. from Thomas
back it is from another woman and all mixed up in a letter. Ihavent verified it yet, as it isnt a direct line of mine. And infoshe sent me on my direct line was all wrong. So I dont hold alot ofstock in the info, but it is a direction to look into.
Thomas J Hutchins and Sarah Waring/Waining children Mary E 24 Apr
1847 married Isaac Barnes (8 Sept 1867 Middleville, MI) died 29 Apr1953 Nebraska (Have there chidren) Elmira 16 Aug 1848 Corwin RhodaF. Jan 1851 Arthur Corwin Sarah D 27 June 1853 married SilasHamilton (my gr grandfathers brother 12 Dec 1872) d Lydia 1856married Oregon Hamilton (my gr grandfather 19 June 1884 Lake Co.,MI) died 2 June 1886 child birth West Troy, MI Addie 1864 diedyoung buried Elmwood Cemetary wayland, MI
I have pension records for Oregon where Sarah and Rhoda wrote
affidavits for him and his new wife, must be they stayed closeafter his first wifes death and death of his daughter by firstwife.
Lydia Hutchins married my gr grand father Oregon Hamilton, died
from compications to chid birth, had a daughter Lydia who died atabt 2 yrs old, LONG story.
Oregon married 1890 to Margaret Layle 2 children William and George
(my Grandfather)
George Hamilton married Edan Skinner had 7 chidren
Donald Hamilton (my father) Married Sylvia Tyner had 7 children
Dawn Hamilton Brown (me)
Can give more specific info later if want.
ok from here it is what some one sent but I dont hold alot of
stock, it is worth checking into though;
David and Mary Hutchin born some where around 1735 / 40
Joseph Hutchins born abt 1755/60 wife Hannah
Steven Hutchins 1790/93 married Elnora Wells (born 7 feb 1793)
Thomas j Hutchins married Sarah Waining her mother was a sister or
daughterto Joseph Hutchins, her letter states both.
Joseph fought in Rev War, they came from Maine to Vt in 1802
Joseph brother David fought in war of 1812.
Hope this helps

Do you have any more information on Rhoda Hutchins.
I have a Rhoda with the following information....
Parents are:
Thomas Hutchins - 5/29/1819 in Ohio married Sarah (Waring) ?
Children: Mary E. Hutchins 4/24/1847 in Noble Co., Ohio M. ? Barnes
Elmira Hutchins 8/16/1848 in Noble Co., Ohio M ? Corwin
Rhoda Hutchins 1/02/1851 in Noble Co. M. ? Arthur Corwin
Sarah Drusilla Hutchins 1854 Married Silas E. Hamilton
Do you have the ancestors of this family?
Sarah Drusilla would be a great ? grandmother of my grandson and I am
trying to work on his family tree.
Thanks for any reply.
