[hall family.FTW] [hall family.FTW] Company G, 8th Regiment, Kentucky Foot Volunteers, United States Army received a medicial discharge om 5-22-1862, at Murphreesboro, Tennessee. He almost lost his eye-sight when struck down by typhoid epedemic that ran through his regiment and took the lives of many of his fellow soldiers. He also suffered from permanently impaired lungs. He was 5 feet 11 inches tall and had blue eyes, fair hair, and a fair complexion according to his application. Jeremiah and Sally lived on Doe Creek in Jackson ,County, Kentucky Jeremiah and Sally are both buried at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in McKee, KY.
