Sir. William Barne , a member of the Virginia Company , married Anne Sandys , a sister of Sir Edwin Sandys , who helped to establish representative Government in America . Their daughter Lady Anne Barne married Sir William Lovelace , also a member of the Va. Company. Their daughter Anne Lovelace married the Rev. John Gorsuch , and their daughter was: Ann Gorsuch , who came to America after the death of her first husband in England , and was in Gloucester Co. , Va. ,1651 . There she married #2 Capt. Thomas Todd.
