"whereas Daniell and Provided Southwicke, sonne and daughter of
Lawrence Southwicke, haue binn fyned by the county courts at
Salem & Ipswich, pretending they haue no estates, resolving not
to worke, and others likewise haue binn fyned, & more like to
be fyned, for siding with the Quakers & ABSENTING THEMSELVES
FROM THE Public ordinances, - - - in ans'r to a question, what
course shall be taken for the satisfaction of the fines, the
court, on pervsall of the lawe, title Arrests, resolve, that
the Treasurers of the seurall countjes are and shall hereby be
impowered to sell sajd persons to any English nation at
